Hey everybody, somehow I messed my phone up, I deleted some stuff as mentioned by the post in how to get 8-9MB of free space....well, everything is well, and everything in my phone works, but 2 things I realized so far:
1) When I got to Office Tools -- Alarm Clock...I cant set a new alarm, it just stays right there, When I hit Select or Exit, nothing happens (but it highlights it for a second, but nothing happens) I can only get out by pressing the red hang up button.
2) Ringer IDs....When I go into the phone book, find an entry and click view, then edit, and go down to Ringer ID, when I go to select one of my songs, I have to scroll down, but after it shows 2 of the many songs I put on the phone, it kicks me right back to the Home Screen, same goes if I get into Ringer IDs and hit the up button instead of down, kicks me right back to the Home Screen.
Now I think I deleted maybe an important Audio file or whatever, but I dont know...Anyways....I need help...
Would it fix it if I flash my phone? I currently have S/W Version: R374_G_0E.42.0ER & FLEX SE8617MXXF1126 I also realized I got bootloader 7.E0 I think it was....
And, can somebody PLEASE link to me a good tutorial on how to flash/fix it

If you can find the flex for suncom then flex it to fix that, next time you need to back up before deleting

Its an unlocked phone. Do I still need a suncom one, or can I use any? or which one? And how exactly would I flex it?

dont know anything about suncorn or boot loading YET i think thats my next step lol

THANK YOU!!!  That first link helped me, and it fixed it all! had to delete temptone.db & mytone.db followed by a master reset on the phone, and now it works Thanks bunches everybody, and esspecially you Geordie!!

no problem  my 5 days of searching n reading through all these forums helped someone im pleased lol i think i need to learn how to back up before i do anything with this phone lol ..........another investigation starts lol

I might be able to help you there....connect your phone, open the Mobile Phone Tools, and click Synchronization, and then click the "I would like to save my data beforehand for backup (recommended)"

its a blank phone ...no user data on it .....im wanting to back up the bootloader and or flex i think.
or find a monster pack or flex which will make my phone the same as it is .....just incase i mess up.
is this possible ?

I was supprised of how fast you can find thing!!! very good , now find Flash Backup 2.5 that what is for you might not be able to fully back up flash do to you bootloader but atleast you can back up the PDS that is the most improtance file to back up cause with it you can revise you fone even you have kill it by flashing
