Well if you deleted a ringtone that was being used at the time then it won't play that tone but also won't let you change it. Vibrate will be the only thing that works. You could try Master Clear and Reset. If that doesn't work then it will involve a little playing around with a program or two.

Hi Nova,

I was wondering if you could recommend a few things for me for my V600. I have already flashed my phone with 72R, and I believe the file was a flash/flex file. Since flashing the phone, I have noticed no distinct difference in the phone, despite reading that 72R increased the speed of menus etc.

That was one of the main reasons I flashed the phone to begin with. I was using the MultiFlashFle program to do this, per a flashing guide I found at mob453.com. Do you know if I have to flash the flash and flex portions separately?

Also, can you recommend any good flashes/flexes that would improve the speed of the phone? I have heard that the Razr flex is a really good one for this, but has glitches and is barebones. do you know how to make it non-barebones after I flex it to this (if I do)?

Finally, I am also looking to increase the amount of SMS storage space available. Can you help or recommend anything for this?

Thanks a heap icon_biggrin.gif

I've never used a monster pack (flash and flex) on a V600. I used separate flash and flex files. I have the 75R flash on my V600 and the E9 flex (the last two characters are E9, not sure the full name).
I have never used the V3 barebones flex and never will, I think it is stupid to put firmware not designed for your phone on your phone, if you want a V3 go out and buy one. A lot of people have said it works but if it goes wrong you will be left with a bricked phone (I've done that before) so personally I don't recommend it.
SMS storage is 100 messages (inbox AND outbox) when stored to phone, and SIM varies depending on your SIM card. There is no way to increase this.
