Can anyone tell me if the MINI USB cable needed for the Phone-to-PC connection is a standard cable? Or did Motorola do some custom thing with it, and now I have to buy thier cable...?
I have MINI USB cables here from other devices. Should they work?
Thanks,
sdm

Yes.
It's standard USB mini 'A' connector (flattish one, not the squarish one).
I know cause I just got my Razr today and in preparation I bought an all in one Belkin USB kit at Goodwill for $10 and I modded my Razr with it.
No godawful big cingular logo on the back now, just a sexy biohazard symbol I made years ago resized to fit.

The Mini USB Cable the RAZR uses is similar to the one used on some digital cameras and some portable music devices, motorola didn't do any special cable.
