Hi. I have heard that Motorola phones tend to have the best reception. Is there any truth to this?

I have had motorola phones since my first cell phone. I find they do have the best reception. Example, My friend has an LG phone. She gets no reception at all at her house. I get perfect reception through out her house. I never get dropped calls. No static. I get reception just about everywhere. The sound is crystal clear. Some of the other phone look nicer, but when it comes down to it, I want good reception! I will be replacing my phone in the next 6 to 8 weeks and I am looking at the motorola's once again. I stay with what I know works. Just my opnion!

Motorolas ar pretty good. I think sony sanyos or samsungs are the best. I've had 2 sonys and I can tell you they are very good. They have outstanding reception, landline quality almost, and are very low in price for the features the are sooooo sturdy, I drop them hard alot, I get them wet alot and they still last and work just fine. I used my friends sanyo for a couple days and it is a great phone landline quality too, sturdy too (all sprint phones are) outgoing calls are very good, even better than my sony according to 4 or 5 people, prices are higher for them, but you get very good quality which is what counts, I love how their high quality speaker works when the phone is closed. As for samsungs, they're a great brand for any elecrtonic product, so you can count on them putting the same quality in their phones, and the prices are pretty fair.

I have noticed that my Motorola V276 gets better reception than my Samsung SCH a670. I haven't experienced a dropped call since I had this phone.

My moto e815 blows my returned LG "V" in reception. I also had the Samsung I730 for a week 4 times "long Story" and its reception was crap! It didn't work unless I could see the tower my self and sometimes still wasn't good enough to make a call! I had 4 of these do this! I gave up and went back to moto!

In my opinion Motorola has the best reception. I've had a phone from LG and Samsung. Now I have Motorola and the reception is so clear. I haven't had one dropped call. I'll be buying Motorola products for the rest of my life.

The best reception by far was my old Motorola StarTac. Wish I could still use it!

Yes, the RAZR brought Motorola down a few hundred steps, and up a few hundred million dollars. Reception is based on many different things, the trimode phones would have advantage in the still-analog areas. And the carrier makes a difference. Has anybody had a RAZR on Metro PCS? It's too much to say one make (especially if the make is more fashion-oriented) has better reception than the others. It's more of a model by model basis. Topography, buildings, RF transmissions (which in turn can affect battery life) can all play a part in reception.

Nokia.
The best.
I won't use them though.
My wife's Razr, which she has had for less than 9 months, gets horrible coverage. Did some warranty, still happened, diff sim, still happened.
I have two samsungs, they get OK service.
My mother-in-law has a Nokia phone, never get bad coverage on it and things are clear.
Although, with CrystalTalk or whatever the hell Moto is coming out with soon sounds promising, but we'll just have to see.
