I recently got a Samsung z500v, I managed to flash it with just the z500 software but I was wandering if there an actual firmware for the z500v as I feel like I could be missing something out. + I don’t like the fact when you turn it on it says just z500
Anyone help here for info on firmware for the z500v?

hi, could i ask, what firmware version did you use, is it english and the o2 firmware or the rex 03 ? and where did you download it if you don't mind my asking,
there is no difference between z500 or z500v, except they added the "v" to the end from what i know, i will do some further research to find out for you though,

I donno what the firmware version is, any code I can enter to check? but I will post the link to where you can download the firmware later when I get home.

Hey Bud,
Doin a bit of research myself in flashing a Z500v and as far as i no the "V" only means that it has bein flashed by vodafone or O2 or whatever to put there crappy menus on it and stuff! Any chance you could drop me on a Message wit the link for the software! Really wanna try and get mine sorted back to Samsung Fireware!
