I just d/l the midway software and it's asking for a comm port number. In the notes it says that my L7 should be listed as a modem but it's not, it's listed in the device manager as a drive with no advanced tab to find out the comm port number. How do I get past this?
thx

Okay, I have a Slvr L7 (Square?) and I bought a USB cable but am unable to see the phone in explorer. (WinXP Pro) The only way I can transfer files is by removing the 1 Gig TransFlash MicroSD media card and inserting in my comp. I want an easier way like with the USB cable, but all I can get is the Motorola cheap ass software package that also does not allow me to utilize the media file transfer utility. I believe that it is disabled on this phone by MetroPCS service provider. I don't know. Anyways, if anyone knows of a way to use the usb cable with different software, then please post this info.

If you computer recognize the L7 as a storage device, copy the jar and jad files in mobile/kjava (this is the phone memory, but it can be accessed through My Computer) then disconnect the phone from the computer and go to games -> memory card -> install new. Install them using the jad file.
i had the jar files and created the jad ones using Jad Generator. then i copied and installed the games. after i installed the games i removed the files i had copied from f:\mobile\kjava (my pc recognized the phone as removable drive F). The games have been working fine, so far.
