I personally own a smart-unlocker. It has worked for every phone that i have tried it on except for a pink razr from t-mobile. I have updated the smart-unlocker with the newest firmware and still nothing. I even tried flashing the phone with older software (within bootloader0826), then trying to unlock it but nothing. The phone displays "RDL SIG ERROR:55:02:" What am i missing?

If it's locked, ican unlock it. If you brick it, I can fix it

You would need to upgrade you unlocker to smart clip to be able to use it with smartmoto. you have to do remove RSA ( basicaly is downgrading your BL to lower version so you can flash or unlock it)

I think you can do that at home, as soon as they got your money they will give you instrution how to up grade it on line.
Hurry up you are missing out alot now, with the new update it's can unlock U6 , L7, L6. E1...

I have a Motorola v3 from cingular.. and i know nothing about unlocking it.. how do i go about learning to do this on my own ?

Well unless you intend on switching it to another service provider there is really no need to unlock it. If you do the first step would be to purchase a smart-unlocker/smart-clip.
