no disrespect meant, but why have a feature that is apparently inactive?

i have sent online email questions twice, with no response. i just asked some simple questions about my plan features over 3 weeks ago (what some listed features meant, and how could i access them) but have yet to get a response.

i can't really remember all of the questions, but some of them were about the fax/data features on the phone. did my plan support them? could i get them if it didn't? what was the "optional accessory" that was referred to?

even a "listen loser, read the manual" would have been better than no response.

what about those questions aren't specific enough for you?

data/fax capability?

did my plan support them?

could i get them if it didn't?

what was the "optional accessory" that was referred to?

if you are a cingular rep and if that is your understanding of the written word, no wonder people get so frustrated with cingular.

FWIW, I e-mailed Cingular customer service yesterday and had a fairly detailed response within about 15 hours.

your phone supports the data fax features with a usb cable link from pc/mac to device you will need to get the cingular connections software from the cingular site that will install the drivers on the computer to see the phone as a modem/fax device

What kind of phone do you have?

What plan do you have?

this is why reps get so frustrated at cingular customers :p

heyjude85023, you know, this is a forum and the guys that come here do so because they like this stuff. We're not being paid to answer your questions and take rude crap from anyone here. The way you started, I'm surprised anyone answered you at all. How about calm down give the information that we need to help you and you might just find out what you want to know. At work I have to listen to crap, but not here.
