As it seems none of the deep resets will help you, as you stated without the MMC everything is fine.
A reset only resets the internal memory, but leaves the MMC untouched.
Either the card itself is malfunctioning or you've installed a program which is malfunctioning.
If you've got anything on the card which needs to be saved, save it and format the card.

hey Jedi,
thankz for replying. i did as u suggested and its working fine.
but i have another question: the same thing happened to my friends mobile. we downloaded the same stuff. but when i check the FExplorer there are few things (.sis files in locatio: e:\system\install) can i take a backup of these files into the c: and then format and then replace them back. will it work? because it takes a helluva time to restore all the files.

That are no actual installation-files.
That are only partial copyies of the installation files and only contain the uninstall informations.
Without them you're not available to uninstall apps from the application manager (Menu->Tools->Manager).

I had the same problem with my fon but and after reading your post I removed the mmc and tried oppening the gallery but it will still not open. I cannot also access the bluetooth application. How do you do the simple reset or the deep reset?
Mine is frustrating. the fon freezes and i have this message popping up each time that application closed. Any ideas

I have done the simple formatting but the phone still behaves the same way. I am not too sure of what will happen if I perform the deep formatting. Will I lose any application? The explanation in the Q&A on that is not satisfactory.

You will lose every app that is installed in the c: drive (phones memory), the e: drive (memory card) remains untouched. Apps installed on the memory card should work afterwards, some might not work (quite few) because some copy a file or two to the phones memory.
A deep reset is like installing the OS again on the phone.
