Thanks for the reply, man. Now I have to have a nice little dispute with the seller regarding the cable.
On another note, any ideas on a cheap (generic is fine) cable that would work with the T309? It baffles me to pay $50 for a few wires.

I bought mine from cellphone accessories stores which cost me around C$25 and the good thing is they were willing to try it out before I bought it. You may as well look around and see if you can find one that sell the suitable cable for your phone.

holy crap guys i just bought a cable from this seller as well for my x497 and i can't get it too work either it fits my phone and when i open the pc studio programs it even makes my phone beep but it never goes to online status.
I have also tried a few other softwares and nothing works.
Is this seller just selling us all bogus cables or what?
I bought this cable for $8 because all the other cables on ebay for my phone were like $30. Now i am kinda regretting not just paying more, but i figured this one should have worked.

Heh, I should've checked this thread first.
I also bought that cable for my x495 and I can't get it to work with Samsung Easy Creator. So yeah, if anyone has any clue what software we're supposed to use, please help us all out! ^^;;

hey guys yes those cables were the wrong ones that that seller sold us, but i emailed them and a few days later they sent me a full refund with an apology instead of sending the right cable because they didn't have the right cable to send me for my x497. I noticed now they also have taken all of those cables as listed compatible with our phones off ebay now so at least they are trying to rectify their mistake.
I ended up getting a different cable off ebay and this one works fine but it costed more than twice as much unfortunately.

lol I'm glad my phone came with a cable, then. Buying it separately must be difficult, especially since there's always that 50/50 change that it's the wrong cable.
Wow, cables are 25$? The cell phone place I went to, they range from $10-$15. And they're Samsung OEM ones. Although, they're not the older, serial ones. They are the usb ones, or as some might call it, serial-to-usb ones? Yea...

Has anyone got their t309 talking to their computer? It seems there is very inconsistent information about what works.
T-Mobil sold me serial cable/software for e335/e635. So I could return it I didn't open the software. The download section at Samsung gave me PC Studio 1.0. This software and cable version don't work.
Another part of the site:
http://erms.samsungusa.com/customer/sea/jsp/faqs/faqs_view.jsp?SITE_ID =22&PG_ID=557&PROD_SUB_ID=560&PROD_ID=0&AT_ID=58308
Says PC Studio 2.0 Data Kit PKT130LBEG/STD are for the t309.
Hardly anyone sells this and those that do say it is for the d-500.

Yes, you are right that D500 cable is compatible to T309 but E335/E635 is not. Hence, you should return it to T-Mobile for a refund.

Hi everybody. I'd like to apologize for reviving an old topic but I stumbled across it via Google's search as I attempted to solve my T309 PC connection problem... WHEW - run-on sentence. Anyway, somebody mentioned that he/she physically went to a cell phone store to purchase an OEM PC-Link; where was that? Also, I'm still searching for the proper cable but, now after the eBay mishap, I'm not sure who actually knows what they're talking about. I believe I may have found one but, again, the seller could be thoroughly incompetent so... Could somebody confirm or deny the compatibility of this cable? Thanks in advance.

Also, if it's not the proper link, could anybody direct me to a place that may have said link..?
