Anyone ever file two claims in one month? Yes, I was unfortunate enough to have to do this. I am new to the cellular game (signed up for my first service in August), and didn't know not to buy the cheap plastic clip holders. Anyway, my first phone (Motorolla V557) broke, after falling out of the clip, and I received my replacement phone in about 2 business days (good service!). While I was waiting for my phone, I purchased a black RAZR at full purchase price with the intention of giving my wife the V557 (she didnt like her cheap model). I had my phone for a couple of days when it was lost/stolen. The clip was on my belt, but no phone. So I filed another claim. Now, I guess I'm on some kind of "fraud alert" list. They have to send me an affidavit to sign and I have to give them a copy of my driver's liscence, my insurance is cancelled for a year, and yada yada yada. I totally understand this. My problem is that it has been over two weeks and a couple of calls to the insurance company, but I still have not received an affidavit to sign. They have sent out two affidavits for me saying that I will get it within two business days, but I haven't received anything. So I went to Cingular and all they did was put me on the phone with the insurance company. The rep told me all they could do was send out another affidavit. I asked if they could fax it to me. No. WTF? Anyone else have problems with claims? What can I do?

Waited on an affidavit for 5 days. Requested another one 3 days ago(Jan 6, 2006). Nothing has came yet. LockLine is HORRIBLE! Im to the point where I just may change services to a different carrier. LockLine, you need to get your shit together.

cingular, verizon, sprint/nextel and suncom just switched to lockline so all the major carries do use lockline as the insurance provider. you may check with you home owners insurance company to see if they cover lost stolen or dammaged cell phones some do other will not with out a policy on electronics being added to the policy

Sure, this is well over two years old, but I just joined and I am reading through past posts for fun.
I would just like to point out something (I'll skip the much offered advice of Lockline being the insurance provider for most wireless carriers):
Part of the Lockline terms and conditions state that you are allowed two claims in a 12 month consecutive period, starting with the date of the first claim.
It's very unfortunate that you have such bad luck with your phones, but that is in no way the fault of either Cingular or LockLine.
