But I dun think the quality is pretty good. when i upload the pictures to the computer. It does not look nice... Is there anyone willing to show me how to change the settings as to improve the pictures quality? I really hav no idea about the use of camera...I also do not the mearnings of 'macro', and is there any big difference between 'normal' and 'fine'? which one will be better? please help, thank you very much...~~-__-~~

The "Fine" setting will give you better quality pictures - the trade of is a slightly larger file size - i took a quick snapshot at 640x480; "fine" settings was 55kb and "normal" was 32kb.
Since I save all my pics to the memory card, the file size doesn't concern me
"Macro" is close up, about 1 to 3 inches from the subject.
Not extremely good examples, but look at the text, you can see the 'fine' version is more crisp.

i see, there is really big difference between fine and normal. but i always use large 1632*1224. i would like to know,is the picture size will affect the quality of the pictures? will it be more crisp if it is 1632*1224? really appreciate ur kindness, thanks a lot!!

W/ the large picture size you can really get a sense of the quality of the 2MP camera, especially if you take the same pic at 640x480 and 1632.
Zooming in on a pic taken at 640, you'll get grain a lot faster than looking at the same thing on the 1632 pic.

The picture will be a lot noisier and grainier on the 640x480 than the 1632 pic when you zoom in and look at the same part of the picture.
