Trouble using EasyGPRS - Problem with cable or settings?

I just got a V205 flashing cable and flashed my phone to a 200. :o I had to get windows XP and all that. Ok so far, but here is my problem. I am having trouble using Easy GPRS. I am thinkning it could be my cable its not OEM and doesnt have the box with the switch on it. :cry: Or it could be my settings im not sure. Someone please give me some advise :?:

It is your cable. I got the same thing as yours and it never worked with Easy GPRS. With the IrDA USB adapter I got from NewEgg, which cost me $25 plus tax, it connected with Easy GPRS right away.

Sounds good, I think the cable is a serial cable.
Another thing is I went back to windows me (cause I like it better) from xp (to flash my phone). Will Easy GPRS still work with xp.

it should work. there's no reason for it not to work unless the system requirements for easygprs is Win XP or 2k. try to install the software first and if it lets you install, then most likely it will work.
