Hello. I am new to this forum. I have heard great things so here i go. i am currently still an ATT customer and bought a V3 razor with is from Europe and says T-mobile on the outside of the screen when it opens and stuff. Also the big "T" is there to access the web. Now i have do research. i have called cingular and had then email instructions on how to set it to there settings. But the problem occurs when they say go to "web sessions" i do not have that option on this phone. and without that i can not get the new setting put in. I have also been to http://secure.mouse2mobile.com/clients/cingular/ota/configuredevice.as p

that site worked up to the point in which they say to go "web sessions" again that option is not on the black razor. Is there anything i can do to get the internet to work on this phone. If not then im in trouble.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get ringtones and wallpapers without access to the internet?

Ohh ya. everyting else works on the phone. sending and receiving calls, text messages, and all that stuff. the problem is the internet. Thanks
Thank you

Unfortunately the Cingular help instructions leave out a major step.

I'll put the missing step in ALL CAPS:

Menu>Settings>WEB ACCESS>Web sessions>(Cingular should be highlighted and checked)>Menu>Edit

Then you type in all of the entry details. Be careful to use all caps where required.

here is the thing. I cant go to MENU>SETTING>WEB ACCESS. on my phone its MENU>OFFICE TOOLS>WEB ACCESS. i have no web session in here. That is the problem. B/c this is a T-mobile phone, is that the reason for these problems? This really sucks. There has to be something i can do.

cellsite. this is what you wrote b4:
"can you find the websession in the v3 ???
if you can't find it , usually that mean they had locked it .. you'll need to unlock and remove the current U.K internet and replace with the MediaNet or flash it with a MP !!!

it is a not easy for noob to do !!!"

now, i can not find websessions. where to i get the MediaNet or flash it with a MP? the other site u took me too, well i had tried the tutorial but again i do not have web sessions.

could u direct me as to how to fix it, since i am a noobie.

thanks

I know that T-mobile doesnt offer the black razr, they only offer silver, so your phone shouldn't say t-mobile on it, try switching your plan over to cingular and then it should work better.

not saying ur a lyer but it does. I mean i need the phone but dont wanna a contract. so i gave it to my sister since she wants that phone and doesnt care about the internet thing. But i was gunna buy another black razor from this guy today 1/3/06 for $200. if this prob with the internet is the same with that other one im gunna get, should i even buy it? or should i wait to see if someone will sell one that will have a working internet. I mean the one i gave my sister wokrs great. except for the internet thing. What should i do? Think there is a way yall can help me fix the issue if i get the other one from him.

ohh ya, the internet thing is "T" and says t-zone when i try to connect. and one the outside display, it says Tmobile when i open it. So? It did come from Europe though.

Now what should i do?

in order to use the internet with a t-mobile phone, you have to pay $5.99. Press the button above the send button, it looks like a little browser. once your there, scroll down to where it says Web & Applications, when your there, you can purchase T-mobileWeb, thats the only way you can use the internet with your phone
