I have a V3 unlocked razor from the Uk. I have cingular service and can't connect to the internet. I have been on the phone with cingular tech twice and given all the new codes. It doesn't work and they say because It's not a cingular phone. I talked with a indepentant phone tech and he said that he did know someone who got the correct settings or software off the internet. Does anyone know what they are? Thanks Nebula

can you find the websession in the v3 ???
if you can't find it , usually that mean they had locked it .. you'll need to unlock and remove the current U.K internet and replace with the MediaNet or flash it with a MP !!!
it is a not easy for noob to do !!!

Yes, I could find web sessions. I selected the virginmobile.UK and replaced all their setting with the new settings and that didn't work. I also selected the new entry selection and put in all the cingular settings. I can text message, I can get the internet screen with the weather in my area but not the ability to move, select options or search. Any other options? Thanks Nebula

I work for Cingular and we constantly have customers that call in asking "How do I..." Please follow this tree or the link that follows it and you can pick your phone (as long as it's in the "tutorial") and it will show you how to...
(Remember: in the settings, any numbers it says to put into certain places in your phone would be for the CINGULAR NETWORK ONLY)
GoTo: cingular.com - there are five buttons across the page, "hover" over the far right, "Customer Service" move down to and click "Phones & Devices", center page under the buttons, see and click link "Go to Phone & Device Support" click drop down for Manufacturer, select yours, click drop down for Model, select yours, click next.
You'll see alot of info about your fone, for a great guide look under support information see and click "View Phone/Device Tutorial"
or go here: https://tutorials.cingular.com/tutorial/web_tutorials/tutorialLogin?mi n_msisdn=8888888888&deviceId=7940&subscriberType=cing
I'm new here and not sure if it's appropriate to put this on the board twice but I will start a new thread with this post also, if that is wrong, delete it. I hope it helps many.

Start here:

Follow the instructions very carefully, back up any files you want to keep before flashing the Monster pack.

Usually flashing an unlocked phone is a pain. It automatically locks it to the network branded pack, so in the case he decided to change carriers he'd have to have it re-unlocked. I say just tweak the settings and de-brand it by deleting all the unwanted locked files. Thats IMO though.
