I might have mentioned this but I got a call a few months ago of one of these credit surfers. guy calls up kinda mumbling about he was unable to place a call and wanted credit. I think he was in a basement of an old school or something well when I opened the account priority note pops up. "under no circumstances does this customer get any credits to his account, all credits approved by manager reps didn't read previous notes........." the account balance was like -270.00 The customer calls in every time he drops a call or hears static or anything on his phone and gripes. I was trying to get him to customer care and get him a manager to say no. but he hung up guessing looking for another rep that would not give him any credits.

Heres a funny call i got first thing this morning reps call over to tech and i answer the rep explains to me that the customer phone displays call held all the time when trying to answer a incomeing call. The guy is afraid to talk to the care rep so his wife is doing all the talking the care rep and i asked when you answer a call do you press the send button twice wife asks him he says no. After placeing test call after test call and power cycleing and power cycleing.

I get this great throught place a call to the cust phone adv wife to tell him just to open the phone and not press any buttons and i get to speak with him. Then i tell the wife to have him answer the phone as he normally does. The phone starts displaying call held again i adv the care rep who didn't want to give up the call to me so i tell the care rep that the cust has his phone set to answer when the flip is opened and when he opens the flip he was pressing send placeing people on hold.
This call had me falling on the floor figturly speaking laughing my a off.

odd one today. whenver cust called his VM, the message would automatically be deleted without him pressing any buttons (tdma 1-key takes you directly in to VM) i was sure he must have been pressing another number or a button was stuck or something.

we later found out that his password ended with a 7 so when it was programmed in and entered VM, the 7 was activated and auto-deleted the message. changed the password, and it worked fine.

just had a customer call who i thought wanted to change his billing address. he didn't, but he's thinking of moving, but he's not sure where yet. he informed me to "stay tuned for further developments"

i told him we'd be ready when he was. no point to the call.

Mine is not really funny, but I had a call today, this lady is MAD because she had to wait 10 minutes holding to get a rep... I politely apolize, have a lot of new customers, so sorry.. Proceeds to inform me that she wants me to let the "higher ups" know just how angry she is... now this goes on for well approx 10 mins, you don't know what I wanted to say at that point!! Meanwhile, more customers have to hold while you are b..... about the hold time, can we just get to the point of the call?? icon_sad.gif People can be very amusing sometimes!

here is one i hope I haven't posted this before not cell phone related. this story is about motorola apparetnly did navigation for f16's years ago and they were having a major major problem they were doing test flights at low altitude in the Dead sea area. and the navigation computers kept shutting down rebooting/crashing in the jets well they finally found out what it was after some time. the aircraft were flying Below sea level and the navigation computer was crashing due to the computer cannot divide by zero. (old time computer folks remember computer programs used to do this crash you home pc. it would say "cannot divide by zero" and computer would reboot. a pretty much idiotic mistake for a navigation computer. .
