funny situation last week:

about 2 weeks ago, the customer orders a sim card. it never reaches him, so he gives us a call and ends up getting a sim from a local dealer and activates it. gives us a call about a week after activation 'cause he got charged for the sim on his invoice, plus tax and shipping, but never recieved it, so he wanted it credited to his bill.

checked fedex and they show it as being delivered. called fedex customer care to see if there was a signature. fedex rep informed me that no one was home so he left it under the doormat. customer went to check his doormat, all I hear is "AW, MAN!"
(it was there).

Customer: "My bill is so #@!$ high, why?"
Me: "I can certainly understand your frustration, but your teenager ran up a whole bunch of text messaging charges"

Customer: "Oh, really? What time were these text messages sent/received?"

Me: "These were sent on 9/5 between the hours of 8 AM and 3 PM"

Customer: "Disable the text. My kid is in school and should NOT be doing that! Sorry I was rude earlier." *click*

Customer calls in my phone is not working and you verify that the phone has power, cust says he has no service you troubleshoot the phone ask the customer to move the sim car to a diffrent phone customer asks what is a sim card you instruct them how to removed the batt and remove the sim card come to find out the cust on his new phone never installed the sim card you ask him about the sim card edu what it looks like cust states he threw it away didn't know what it was or why he needed it

Well 2 stories stand out that did not happen to me. A customer calls in wanting to sue and all angry and stuff because his phone does not have a dial tone. He supposidly insisted that all phones no matter cell phones or not have to have a dial tone. And another one (didn't happen to me either) was trying to charge a bluetooth accessory wirelessly. (didn't have the bluetooth plugged in) he had it setting on a table across from whatever he thought was chargin it his computer i guess. There is a website not cellphone related i'll try to get the link for you it's about PC's computers etc. It's funny like people afraid to put floppy disks near other computer disks because of fear of them catching viruses just as an example icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_biggrin.gif

customer was on a legacy blue 1500 charter.. unlimited minutes.. customer was in mexico and thought that no matter where she travels she would not get roaming charges.. haha.. advised that this is definatly not the case.. well 7000 minutes later and 4000+ in roaming charges customer was quick to escalate.. enough said.. i thought it was quite humerous.. LOL

charter plan customers... gotta love them...I had the same call but the customer was in Belgium... the discounted roaming was on the acct...the notes read she was aware of the .99/min roam charge...the cust had even called in from the airport just before leaving to confirm that charges and that the phone would work there...

but the famous line..."nobody told me"

didnt work with me... reminded her of the 2 conversations the next sound I heard was "click" (the customer hung up...)
