Had a customer that was told to RIP OFF the BACK of their firefly phone by a rep. so that the customer could read the sim card number to the customer. (if you look at a picture of the phone you can see the sim card under the front of the phone at the bottom of the front keypad. The customer was on the phone with me after they finally got the back of the firefly off with no sim card number. It really wasn't funny the phone was messed up..

had a customer the other day trying to troubleshoot her phone, when she decides to go through the wendy's drive-thru. she asked me to hang on then placed her order. the window guy messed it up and she was discussing it for a couple minutes.

so she comes back and we start to talk and then get interrupted by the next window guy.

I had a customer had an order that he was sent that he said he did not receive i looked it it up and it was signed BY HIM!! and while i was on the phone with him i could hear them discussing who's paying for the 8 ball (no they were not playing pool from what i could tell either) I submitted a form and said to myself GOOD LUCK getting another phone when YOU signed for the one you say is missing. (and it was like 2nd or 3rd phone that was missing. "lost by the shipper" FRAUD!!!!!)

Customer has been with us since October of 2005. Changed price plan and sees the new plan billed a month in advance but the usage is billed a month behind. Says to me "Well, I've never seen this billed a month in advance."

So, I look up "Terms and Conditions" in CSP. Page 2 at the bottom and the first couple of lines of Page 3 says (paraphrased), "Unless as noted below, service plans and some features are billed a month in advance."

Customer says "Oh, thank you." *click*

first of all i wanna say you guys have an awesome site, ive been in the customer service business for about 5yrs and can relate to all these stories, here's one of my own: i used to work to for SBC Communications, who in the midwest is partnered with Cingular, well apparently a rep signed the cust up for a family plan(this is what cust is tellin me), so after about a month of having the plan the cci and gets me(lucky me huh?), well the cust proceeds to tell me that having a family is a completly useless plan, (at this point i have checked their services out), so i ask the customer why he is upset with his current plan(at this point i am well aware of this customers service and am truely just playing along), he says to me and i quote:"what is the point of having a family plan with only ONE phone? the three of us(him, wife, teenage son)have been switching days of the week so we can all use the phone."....this is a true story, i eventually sold the guy an actual family plan, but it was hard not to laugh at him....just thought i would share that with ya, last csr job i had was for the local cable company, and believe me the stories are better, try explaining to a cust the reason why her cable doesnt work is because the electricity is out in her area....so in reality, the cable works fine its just her tv wont turn on, belive it or not the supervisors running the show gave her a credit on her service.....nothing like rewarding ignorance....funny stuff

got a call from an old man yesterday. I don't wanna type in caps, so just imagine him yelling.

oldman: People are calling me and i don't know how to work this thing. I jusst got it! how do i answer calls!?

me: do you see a green button below the screen?

oldman: the screen is off right now! how do it turn it on!?

me: see the red button below the screen?

oldman: I see it!

me: press and hold that 'till the phone powers up.

oldman: OK!

at the point the call was disconnected. i'm assuming he was on the phone.
