Can anybody recommend a good UNBRANDED stable flash file for the V300? I would rather not flash it using a V600 file as I really only want to remove all the crap T-mobile menus & screens.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! icon_cool.gif

Well all flash files are unbranded... branding is contained in the flex... but a good flash is TRIPLETS 09.72R and TRIPLETS 09.75R.... as far as good unbranded flex IMO the E9 Flex is good and I like the V3 core flex... you can get them from http://www.motoaide.com:8081/motorola

Thanks for the reply...

Isn't the 72r intended for v600?

If I were to flash with the 72, I was looking at the 72r_reflash file.

Also, the flex you recommend...is it also unlocked?

One last question...do you know if the flex version is dependent of the flash version. Since I am mostly interested in unbranding the phone & don't care about speeding the phone up or getting new features, I could probably just re-flex the phone with your recommended file & then I would be set.

That flex should work if all you want is to unbrand

If I decide to flash the phone to 72r should I use the full flash or reflash file?

What is the difference?

I see in other posts that I should use the reflash file. Is that correct?

Reflash will not change your flex ( branding)
if use full flash you might want to lock for V600 triplet 72R detail( that is stock moto unbrand)

Its TRIPLETS flash so you can use on V300, originally intended for V600 though I believe. The flex i unlocked but you can verify sim lock on flex files with flextool.
