i did make it work. i found a website that had clear instructions that told me to use bit pim and an sd card. it worked. i put it in bitpim, then downloaded to the sd card then put it in my phone and then it worked. my phone is version 4. another advantage is that with bitpim i downloaded my phone book into my phone too. i do not remember the website name but i searched for bitpim with ring tones and it worked. good luck
