You have the answer already, cable for X495 is not compatible to T309. As you mentioned, the compatible models to T309 are:

D500 / D508 / D600 / E350 / E358 / E730 / E738 / E750 / E760 / P735 / T309

Thankyou. I just wanted to make sure. Samsung said no data cable is available but I guess the non-oem is what I will need. Thanks again. Jim

^ What? WAIT.... Okay I have a USB cable, original one that came with my Samsung SGH-e730. I'll tell you the numbers (hope this helps!):

PCB113BSE is the cable that I have. Look for that one! The one you bought looks nothing like the one I have, since the one I have is silver and it doesn't have that weird box thingy in it. icon_razz.gif

Remember that mines came with my phone, so it's an original OEM one. You shouldn't pay so much for a cable. Since technically, the program can be downloaded for free. Or well, I d/led it for free to see it I could still get the program. Although, mines came with the CD with Samsung PC Studio 2.0, I still tested to see if I could ever get the program d/led, if I ever lost the original program cd. Yea... icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks to all that helped. The D500 USB cable that I bought w/software for about 10 bucks worked great for the T309. This is a great forum . Jim

Which phone do you have? Do you have the latest version of PIM? If so does the program see the phone? Jim

I have the t309, and purchased this cablehttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5857061150&rd= 1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 from ebay. I did install the program from the disk, (the live update for the image studio keeps failing). I'm soooo frustrated
