Yeah.. Why would anyone continue to say they are from Nigeria.
I mean, I have an unknown relative there, and will be getting $12000 dollars once my check clears, but I don't think anyone is falling for these obvious scams.

My favorite was this: I had a phone I was selling on eBay. I got a message from some guy in England saying he wanted to buy the phone for his brother in Nigeria for $800. First, it was a Verizon Wireless phone, so it wouldn't work in EITHER country. Second, he wasn't a registered eBay user. And third, I immediately got a message from eBay basically saying it was fraud.

I was tempted... but if I remember correctly, it was one of those 'I'll send you a check for $3000, you cash it and send me back the balance."

yeah I put a 6,700 pound van on some classifieds to sell it maybe probably under 1,000 dollars got a guy wanted me to send him the 6,700 gmc van to england and mail me a 12,000 check for it and send him the difference.. I sent him an e-mail back I'll send you the 1,000 dollar van but it would probabably cost about 11,000 to ship it to you.. for some reason I didn't get a reply..
