People that whine about doing their jobs...and for all the CSR's out there, if it wasn't for "'da stupid peoples" and their blunders, where would your jobs be? McD's? I love idiots; they keep my hosp/ems job hopping.

but picture this a patient comes in to your hospital states i went running and poped a stitch you put in my knee ,you are going to fix it your are not going to charge me for it,
or
yea you put the cast on my leg and i went swimming , noone told me i could do it can you fix it for free
im sure if that was 1/4 - 1/2 of the people you dealt with on a dayly basis you would gripe too

BigRuss, I came back to the hospital after field service working with Dell's and the like...I used to get 'em plugging there power bars into the batt backups, and the battery backup into the power bars....I do know your pain.....and the patients you are describing we call GOMERs (Get Out of My Emergency Room) So, we too feel that pain....LOL
And Tipi, sometimes ya just gotta do it...

I Can't beleive someone was talking about haveing people come into hospital. you ever sat at a hospital like waiting to get waited on?? GOMER's like you said in last message. Go to the hospital on a FULL MOON. with all the NUTJOBS coming in one time we waited at a particular hospital for the normal 6 hours. and we kept getting bumped to the back of the line by suicide attempts/ a couple results of a drunken brawl./ and a couple of what looked like overdoses/rockbottoms. and YES it was a full moon. I was like OMG my wife is here about dying she's so sick' people stop coming in trying to kill your selves. etc.

Jadall, I work Hospital and lifesquad on full moon nights.....and on hot nights when the gov-ment checks have run out and they can't get their drugs or liquor...hate the crowd, and would much rather deal with normal people like you seem to be, but the fruits, nuts and flakes are at times humerous, unfortunately they do inhibit care to the rest of you.
