Phone Model: V3 - 42.10R_B/1126 - 10+mb Unlocked

My V3 is running s/w 40.9cr and flex GSMV3MYDST01NAOBF, bootloader 8.23. The phone came unlocked, unbranded, completely motorola stock. Also, I have RSD 2.4 and multiflashflex. What should I use? Is RSD only for superfiles?
Should I upgrade to a newer flex/flash? If so, which one? Is it really worth it?
Also, which v3_video.rar should I use from motoaide.com? Since the phone is already unbranded stock, should I use the Tmobile one just because I have their service?
Even stranger, the phone came with video record , but it is only accesable under the 'video' area of the phone, where that rediculous moto commercial is. I cant link to it for a soft key, its not in the multimedia tab, etc. So id like to add it by replacing the seems, mma's, etc.
Ive done all of these things to V3's before, this phone is just a little odd, and I need some direction.
thanks!

Ok, but as far as video goes, what pack should I use? And is R374_G_0E.42.0ER really the newest flash?

Yes its the newest flash and if you use a monsterpack it will do the video for you.
Backup your websession file in the a/ folder first and make a note of the settings in the entry under mms message setup>server info

Cool, I appreciate your help. I dont have any websession info in there right now anyways, Ill have to call tmobile to get it when I need it.
As far as I can tell this is the one I want to use which will bring my bootloader to 8.26.
Will this in any way effect the unlock of the phone - to say, will the phone remain unlocked ? So basically I download this file and plug it into RSD 2.4 and boom, im good to go?
download S/W Version: R374_G_0E.42.0ER.sbf
Flex Version: SE8602MXXU112D
New Bootloader: BOOT0826
Language Pack: 002E
Video Recording: Capable
Stock Moto/Unlocked
Attention: Use the latest RSD v2.3 to flash!
[10.3 MB]

Stock Moto/Unlocked << This means the pack is unlocked so if your phone is already unlocked it will stay that way (if locked it won't unlock it)
Just follow the guides on the site linked above and you should be ok. Take it slow and make sure you understand what you are doing and you should be ok

I went ahead and did it. Worked fine, cept on first boot there was some weird message in russian I think, anyways, Havent seen it since. My bootloader remained at 8.23... why?
But the flash was successful. Can I get rid of the message on startup "My Number: (my phone number)"
Thanks again for your help!

Don't worry about the bootloader - doesn't matter
There is a seem edit for this:
SEEM 0126_0001
offset 00 - bit 7: Display My Phone Number at Power On (0 fix enabled, 1 fix not enabled) (offset 04 MUST Be Set - Fix for S/W >38R)
Read up on seem editing on that site

When you say say offset 4 must be set, you mean it must be checked in xv132 bit manipulation right?
This flex has spelling errors... not a problem, but kinda funny.

No sorry you also need to do this:
offset 04 - bit 5: Display My Phone Number at Power On (1 fix enabled, 0 fix not enabled) (offset 00 MUST Be Set - Fix for S/W >38R)
I think it is because you used language 2E which is UK english
