hiya, the first post i said was about replacing the LCD screen, well first of all make sure that you have an origional samsung flexi ribbon for your phone as the cheap ones dont really work properly, 2nd of all, dismantle your phone carefully as it is stated in the first page, fist reply. and use it up untill taking the screen off the board, instead take the flexi ribbon off the board... there should be a black clip holding the ribbon in place and then unclip it gently, replace the ribbon and re-assemble the phone back together in reverse order that you took the phone to pieces. should be fairly easy, if you need a flexi ribbon e-bay seems a good place to go to.

I've followed the instructions. Gone to turn the phone on, and nothing. Won't fire up. Any ideas.

Sorry to be a pain, but noticed that you have the take apart and put back together vid for the d500. tried looking for this all over, but cant seem togetmyhands on it. Any chance you could post ita agian, or e-mail direct if a send my address???

Hi I'm new to this forum. I found you guys by Googling for instructuions for taking apart my Samsung D500. I managed to drop in in to a full cup of tea - Doh !
It appears to be powering up OK after i dried it out but the keypad is not working. Would it be possible to get a copy of the vid please,

Hi, i replaced my sceen and put everything back together and when i turned on the phone the sceen didnt light up, but everything ealse was working fine.
P.s. I have replaced the old ribbon when i replaced screen.
