hi there guys!!
here is my prob
I recently broke my D500 to pieces...
Actually it didn't brak all that much, just the ribbon cable was torn in two thw the two parts came apart...
I bought a ribbon cable and a new housing from ebay, but I think that there are some parts missing...I'm pretty sure that there is a spring or something in the slde mechanism that I don't have.
So could anyone give me a complete parts list, and where would it be possible to get any missing parts?
That was such a great phone,I just got a X700 to replace it,but it doesn't come close.
I really need to fix it...
Thanks for any help!!!

Hi, evryone!
I found this forum some time ago when i serch on how to change the cover on my D500. I have to thank you for all the very nice info and work someone have made to make life easyer for us. I have now chaned the cover accordingly to the video.
My problem now is that it is not possible to turn on the phone. I have taken the phone appart again and looked over what i have done but evrything is ok.
I have read through a lot of the topics here and see that a few moore people have the same problem as i have. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Thank you very much for all your time and help.

After reading about so many of you breaking you screens and cases on the samsung D500,I thought i would look for a good site for spare parts,
and came across this 1 (DataKits.co.uk) brilliant site for parts,
i got the whole housing front and back for a D500 for 17.99,it came with all the little pieces that you need and a step by step instruction on how to fix together.
they do the D600 to,as well as the new D800,
In fact i dont think there is a phone they dont have parts for.
there is a whole lot of cool stuff for your pc and phones too.
very cheap and relieable, quick deliveries to i only waited 2 days for my D500 housing to arrive.
well i hope i have helped someone out there.
they definately helped me.

Hi, i have a phone which powers on and off, and can recieve calls (with headset), but cant actually key in any numbers, or make any calls (works with voice calling though throught the headset). The end call/power on button is the only one that works.
What do i need to fix this phone?
Thanks
