Hi! Like many people here, I've changed the housing on my D500 - it worked for a few days then stopped. Now it won't power on at all. Is this likely to be the ribbon, or does the lack of any startup sound mean it is fried? Could I fix it myself, or if not, can anyone recommend a repair service? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

@vraidex

Try and take phone apart again. Your ribbon cables may have come out their connectors.

Hi all, anyone got some clear instructions on how to take apart the phone?

For some reason, my screen isn't showing anything, just a white screen. It's really frustrating because the exact same thing happened to another phone (my dad's) which is the same model. It's just having a jumping screen with black dots....

I can't find a working link to the video anywhere!

Hello everyone,

I have followed a video on how to take a D500 apart, i did this to change my girlfriends phone cover. After I changed the cover i now receive a very poor signal which also goes into no service. I have changed 2 D500's covers now and the same thing happened to that one also.

Could someone tell me what could cause this and what i need to do to fix the problem, I have always been careful when changing the cover and always make sure all the connectors and any wires stay intact.

Thankyou in advance
