had a lady ci wanting a credit on her bill because they just upgraded to a v3i and paid lied 230 for it, i just flat out told hewr no , she just wanted a hand out
then about 3 months back i had a guy who reciently migrated wanted a $75 credit because his blue sim wasnt compatable w/ his new phone and he had to manualy reenter all of his contacts, and he felt $75 was worth his "inconvienance |
People really don't get it...
They want a technological society that is instant and lacking, "inconvinience." I say, once your effin brain is instant, then you can have your society. Dont expect your societies technology to perform better than your brain child. It simply requires your brain to perform.

man, some older woman called in saying she can't use her phone. she's not connected to the network so i tell her to power cycle, no deal. try to program phone (tdma cust) and it's moto
if you don't know, the first code string needs to be entered in 16 seconds with each key stroke allowed 2 seconds...and of course, she couldn't do it fast enough.
her: ok. menu...*ten seconds later*...seven...uhh...
it must have taken her 30-40 seconds to enter it in each time.
so i tell her to go to a store to get someone to do it for her...and she wants cerdit!
"well, am i gonna get credit!? I can't use my phone!"
no credit! you ca'n tuse your phone 'cause you can't follow directions!
before she hung up, i heard her complain to her husband that "these things" are worse than a dvd

At some point I made reference to how some peoples brains are not compatible w/ new technology. They need to find a third world country and join population.
