Hi, since my MA-620 infra-red unit locks up the programs i use, i need to know if there are any issues with the MA-8220 data cable and a standard v205 (not flashed or anything). I would like to upload/download ringtones, messages, backgrounds, pictures from my phone. The reason i ask about the MA-8220 and not the others is because this is the only one thats available in Australia to buy.
Thanks in advance.

i am using the MA-8220 currently (usb cable) to download/upload stuff from my phone. I have also used it for flashing and everthing and it even charges your phone while your computer is on.

there's no memory on the battery so you can charge it even if it's 1/2 full or whenever. but every 2 weeks or so finish up the battery (full discharge) and then do a full charge.

i see, thats good to hear! i have always been scared of charging the battery when its still half full because i thought i would ruin it :p , but i guess there was nothing to worry about hehe..
gundeepsethi: with your ma-8220 cable, are you able to use the easygprs software?? or can you only use the software that goes with the cable?? I'm wanting to upload animated gif backgrounds etc to the phone also.. im not sure if the mobile action software can do it..
