Has anybody bought the Music Essestials Kit from Verizon? If so I have a question for you. Can you transfer pictures, sounds, ringtones and other stuff with the USB cable or can you only do that with the music files?

Free songs to your phone

first buy the.....Music Essestials Kit from verizon and a 1gb from anywhere or verizon

than download ...Limewire if you dont have to search for your song by songname.wma than save song in play list in win-meb10 than add to your phone

for the most space in your 1gb sd card add songs at 48kbs or 64kbs at this size only to get the most space
on your card

48kbs at 3min song is about 1.2 mbs in too 800mbs =666 songs

64kbs at 3min song is about 1.7 mbs in to 800mbs =470 songs

at 48kbs and the song size you can put about 450 to 650 songs on 800 mbs out a 1gb card and have room
for pic and other on your card

hope the helps

its better to get the up todate software so you can do this

than after if you still want the mp3 player as well you go menu o than 000000 than music setting than 1)mp3 disable 2)mp3 enable

than you can have both wma and mp3 player and the most
up todate software on your phone icon_biggrin.gif

You can change the play key on the phone by doing this

1) Setting&Tools

1)Tools
2)Shortcut key
3)Play key
4)my v-cast music or my mp3"s

I am frustrated with trying to play music on my SAMSUNG a-950. I downloaded Windows Media Player 10. I tried to download to my laptop the VCast CD that I ordered from the VCast Bundle so that I could sync my music. I keep getting an error ISScript.msi Install script engine is missing from this machine. I have tried at least 5 times to try to install. Once I got the error about ISKernel Files.
While reading this forum last night I read that I could save .wma files to my transflash. I did that this morning, well now the error that my phone says is license acquisiton failed. I am so frustrated!!!!!!!! I bought this phone for the supposed mp3 capabilities. I have had this particular phone only about a month. I had to replace it with the same model as my previous SAMSUNG a-950 that I had since November just quit working. Interestingly enough, on my first SAMSUNG a-950 I had no problem saving mp3's, yes, mp3's to my transflash and then playing them on my phone. Please help me?????
Thank you.

Had the same issue with the CDM 8945 Please see my post...

http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic47000.html

Also, from the V3m review:
"however consumers should be aware that the V3m's strengths tie heavily into Verizon Wireless' services and all these features can be an expensive addition to their monthly bill."

Nobody has said it directly but I think Verizon's new marketing strategy is; if you want an mp3/wma player, you have to subscribe to VCAST, aka VCASH
