I just got a unlocked black razr v3 and i'm using it for cingular. it wont let me sending pictures in messages. Everytime I try to send a Picture message it tells me unable to send resend now? and when I clikc yes, it says the same thing. I tried again after messing with the settings to resend it, and it said 'connection to server required, connect now?' and when I clicked yes it said 'cannot connect, setup incomplete'
It also won't let me use the browser or use the IM.
Some of the settings it asks for..
GPRS APN, usename, and password for the IM in the ISP Settings.. what is this?
For the MMS message setup I have the server info on Maxis MMS, no filter, no size limit, automatic download.
For the message setup, I have use GPRS-no, email gateway- 500, sms alert-on. I tried yes for the Use GPRS, and I also tried 121 for the email gateway. Nothing will work.

SMS is set via the service centre number in message setup
MMS requires the websession set as above and the Server info entry set correctlt in the MMS Message setup.
You also need your provider to activate the MMS service on your line.
Since I do not have the cingular settings I would look on their website or ring them up

From the above post the MMS server infor settings are:
Service Name: MMS
Server Name: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Web Session Name: MMS
So you just need the service centre number and to check the service has been activated
