I saw posts that poeple has to send the phone back for repair. They usually send it to Samsung as Samsung will most likely flash it with an unbrand version of firmware and you can then use it with any service provider.
Another option for fixing it by yourself, you need tools like Agere Attack which you may find too expensive. Try cellphone repair shop and they may be able to fix it. There is yet another option which is flashing the phone with an unlocked firmware using PCB093LBE data cable.
I personally suggest you send the phone back to Samsung for servcing rather than flashing it by yourself unless you are good at that.

Did you get the unlock code from T-Mobile? Other code probably won't work. Since your phone displayed "phone locked return for servicing", it probably can't recover by entering codes.

That (*#9998*533#) code you entered will not work. The
best way to unlock your phone is to call T-Mobile and get
the cod from them. I just did it and it works. The code is baced on your IMEI# there is no generic code that you can use. Every E315 code is different.

try this.Turn off the phone. Put a non-accepted Simcard and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. Choose menu #7. After phone reboots type *0141# and hit the Call button. Turn off and insert another Simcard. Turn on. The code is 00000000.
if the 1st didnt work try putting a non accepted sim and type *2767*3855# phone will reboot and should b ok

I emailed T-Mobile, the guy said he could get me the code if I gave him th emodel number. So I sent him the model number, and he replied back with "You can pay for the code through the website." I was under the impression that he was going to give it to me free. Did you have to pay for yours?
