He wasn't that good... but he was good, I was quite surprised by his performance. When I say the trailer, I thought it's gonna be some normal comedy and its gonna be his normal level of comedy... but it was really advanced...

I saw three: Batman Begins (awesome, but not oscar worthy for any category)

Memoirs of a Geisha - Best Cinamatography

Pride and Prejudice - Keira Knightly was awesome, could be a contender.

My wife saw Brokeback Mountain. she thought it was awesome, but extemely sad. her and my brother in-law also saw Kin Kong.

my brother in-law said it's 3 hours of his life he'll never get back.

I can't wait to see corpse bride. it just came out on DVD this week in canada.

Overall I've seen 8:

Crash (awesome movie)
Corpse Bride (some nice black humor)
A History of violence (I was as surprised as impressed by this movie)
Batman Begins (I've expected much worse, nice new dark batman)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (I'm addicted to the HP movies)
Star Wars Episode III (nicely done)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Johnny Depp is awesome)
War of the Worlds (better than I thought)

There are still some movies I'd like to see (Brokeback Mountain, Munich, Chronicles of Narnia).

I saw The Matador the other day. it was a lot funnier than I thought it would be. It kept my father-in-law laughing for a few days.

I've just seen that the list I've posted seems to be incorrect since "Crash" isn't listed as nomination for the best movie... but I'm glad it won.
