I think I might have figured it out. When I copied the tones from the second device on my phone, it told me I didn't have enough room, so I had to delete some of the existing ringtones. Then it allowed it. Could this have been the reason for the original denial in MPT's?
hello I have a problem with my phone when i copy a file into my phone using phone tools 4.04 it says request denied by phone unsupported media type 0x4F what is to do?? please help at -edited-

Make sure the phone is turned ON, not just attached and charging. I never found this on three different forums that I searched, but discovered on my own that this was why I was getting the error message.
Hope this helps you and others that have this problem in the future.
