you told me to restore the pds if i had the bootloader 7.do which i do have now.
but it keeps getting stucks at restoring backup in flashbackup.exe.
is there another software i can use to get to restore it agian

What happens when you power off / on?
What happens if you remove battery, hold * and # and replace battery?
Can you complete a flash with a reflash file?

yes i can complete a flash with a reflash file from planet motox, but it still gave me that not found for sw version
so i am trying what u told me to try which is to restore my pds in FlashBackup. but it seems stuck right now. for the past 3 mins its still at restore backup with no progress bar movement.

Try a different PC - I know it sounds crazy but flash backup seems very tempremental about which USB ports it likes and which it doesn't. Laptop ports it seems to particularly dislike

OK I followed the steps every thing look good on my computer screen but my phone has no display and the keys are lit up.
I had bootloader 2.6.
Do not remember the sw #
I tied to flash my sw but it came up failed.
Is my phone now junk?

Never mind I flashed useing RSD lite and now it works. I do not know how I erased the phone but it is good now.

i followed all the procedure, i had 8.26, 1st downgrade bootloader then i used smartmoto 1.19, to flash to R374_V3BL 07.D0.shx, then i used the motorola unlocker 2005 and it told me that worked succesfully, but nothing, it told me to contact service provider, then i followed the second alternative ,so i flashed to R374_G_0E.40.79R_MOTOX.shx, i avoided dowgrading coz ive already downgraded the bootloader so i directly flashed to R374_G_0E.40.79R_MOTOX.shx, then i got the blank screen i went to flash mode then , run the motorola unlocker 2005 and it told me that woked succesfully then i upgraded my phone to R374_G_0E.42.10R.shx and i only have a different os no more cingular welcome pics but the same problem, it told me to contact service provider it is still locked, and when i hit *# power on it shows me a black screen i suppose it is the booloader 7d but it is not unlocked so what should i do
