You have a V3r rather than a normal V3

I have downgraded bootloader to 07D0.
I am using RSD Lite 2.5
I have R374_G_0E_41.C3R ( just upgraded to 42.10R )
I am trying to flash to R374_G_0E.40.79R, even tried 40.64R for unlocking.
After RSD is "done" flashing the above, the version remains the same, it doesn't want to "downgrade" to 40.79R...

Any idea, please?

Also, I have a new flex now ( my original was CIN01NA0F5 ).
I am sorry, I read a lot of discussions, but did not find a clear answer, I am sure it's my fault, however, what exactly is stored in the flex?[/b]

What file are you trying to flash with? Do you get any errors?

The flex is all the files and settings on the phone

I even tried after flashing with 40.79 I ran the unlock program, flashed back to 42.10, but needless to say, the phone is still locked.

Thanks!

I am not sure you are using the correct file - if you were it would work - think you are using a flex or flexlash rather than a monsterpack

I was using / have tried the following from the planetmotox monster_packs.php website :

S/W Version: R374_G_0E.40.79R.shx ( both flex versions )
S/W Version: R374_G_0E.40.64R.shx

They are 67/69 MB.

Again, the flashing seems to work, it says flashing was a success, but when I turn on the phone and go to bootloader screen, the version has not changed. If I try an other file from the same site ( R374_G_0E.42.10R.shx ), it behaves the same, but than the bootloader shows the correct (42.10R) version when I turn the phone back on.

Is it possible that for some reason the bootloader shows the incorrect version? But again, even when I ignore what the bootloader says, the unlock doesn't work either...

Sorry, I was following everything by your instructions ( and I was able to upgrade to 42.10R, which means there was no problem with flashing... )

I know it's difficult to remote-analyze a situation like this, I was mostly wondering if you have heard of this kinda behavior before...

Any help is welcome. Thanks.

Try starting in bootloader and flashing from there.

Also try using a reflash file rather than a monsterpack and see if that works.

I haven't heard of this problem before - or at least that I remember.
