but it still ask for subsidery code so look slit it is not unlocked. HElp please ..I followed the line by line and I did couple of time flash downgrade and megapack but still no luck

Try to fing p2k Easy Tools 3.7 or 3.9 and use that to unlock

got everything I need, installed ran RSD Lite 2.7, turned on phone, connected to PC.. but nothing...? RSD Lite doesn't recognize it..
I tried unhooking it, turned off phone, turned it on again in boot loader mode, then connected again, but RSD lite still can't recognize it... and I also tried different USB ports..
Any ideas?

hi all, old_fool or mikekay10 please help me with this issue i am having with my v3 razr which is on tmobile. i want to get it unlocked and i started to downgrade using bootloader but it froze in the middle while it said on the inner lcd "SW upgrade processing" i a couple of minutes but nothing so i discounted the cable and when i try to start the phone it doesnt turn on, even if i try to go in bootlaoder mode it doesnt do anything. only that happens with the phone now is that everytime i hold the power button down the keypad lights up for about a second or two and thats about it. is my phone completely wasted or is there still hope?

Did you make a PSD backup?
Does RSD Lite recognise the phone at all?

hey mikekay, i tried to startup the phone in bootlaoder and the only problem was that nothing was displaying on the screen. if i plug in the phone to the pc(while phone is off) and than start it on bootloader than RSD detects it. so what i did was just reflashed it and its working now. only thing now is that before, i use to see the bootloader version and the other stuff of flash mode when i use to start the phone in flash mode, but now it is always blank?? i guess i can live with that.
just one more question the new flash i put on was R374_G_0E.42.10R_PDS005_LP0039.shx(this is the unbranded one with video camera). This flash is messed up becuase whenever i get a voicemail i get a blank text msg or an sms with nothing in it, instead of me getting a notification of the voicemail. So used R374_G_0E.42.09R_MXLP0001_GSMV3MXCIN01NA0F5_superfile_MOTOX.shx which is Cingular branded and works fine with the voicemail settings, but this one doesnt have a video camera function. Do you know if there is a flash out there that is fixed from these bugs and with a video camera, if not is there a Tmobile branded flash which I prefer to install instead of Cingular..

Sometimes bootloader 7.D0 displays with a blank screen - sounds like that is the case with you. The phone should work fine regardless

I have a Motorola RAZR V3, then after buying some unlocking software from ebay was told I had a V3r, its confusing if the phone just says the same name!
anyway, theres another seller on ebay claiming to unlock the Motorola V3r, after yesterdays experiance, and seeing on other sites that this can not be unlocked, im a bit wary, but do want to try and unlock it, i know no one on vodafone. I see here how easy it is to damager a phone. So maybe finding an unlocking shop is the best bet. I have the unlocking software for standard v3, but which is useless to me.
