Thanks a lot! Great website, great resources on the site and great people!!
Got this working on my nephews Razr V3 by using RSD to flash the 0x007D0 bootloader file then used the R374_G_0E.42.10R firmware update then ran the Moto-unlocker program to remove the provider lock
Thanks again to all the people who made the files and have offered support on using them, long live homebrew hacks

Hi Mikey and Old_fool, If the links and such provided in the first post don't wor, and I think they don't work because I can't get past step 4...that SHX file I"m having trouble with...like understanding it...anyway, will p2k tools work? without have to go through those other steps?

Hi Mikey, Is there a specific program that I need to open the file so that it can be extracted?

Do you mean the .rar or .shx file?
If .shx use rsd lite - but this is warez and links are not allowed

Ok, I started out with my version being 8.23. I went ahead and tried to use the Motorola unlocker and when I went into boot loader mode and connected it the computer via USB cable, I clicked on "Connect to Phone" and it said that Rfone found, Connected sucksessfully or something to that effect and then Done! =)...still not able to use a Cingular Sim in my tmobile phone. Did I do everything right?

Did you downgrade the bootloader to 7D0?
If you have and it still doesn't work then you can either try flashing with an old monsterpack (circa 40.79R), run the unlocker then flash a recent monsterpack.
Or even more reliably find p2k Easy Tools (warez so no links..) to unlock it
But you definitely need bootloader 7.D0
