I got tow ondering why my computer would not connect to my phone after I downgraded the bootloader. So I check my USB device Start/Stop program. And it is telling me:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 2
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
I have no idea where to find these drivers. Could someone assist me? This may be what is causing motounlocker 2005 to give me the error message: RFone not found

Hi all,
I've spent 3 days going through this and other threads.
I've tried downgrading the bootloader, installing old Monster packs etc...
I tried P2k easy tool v4,1 no sucess.
I tried manually editing PDS file with PDS backup , couldn't get phone to to flash new pds.
I then found a message for another motorola phone (L7) and they advised using p2k version 3.9.
Managed to get hold of a copy, and hey it was easy to unlock.
connect phone, select v3 phone in tool, tell it to unlock, unplug usb cable when prompted, power back on phone, reconnect usb cable, and that's it.
I've already tried 3 different sims from differnt providers, all work ok.
SUMMARY
to unlock v3phone find yourself a cracked copy of p2k easy tools version 3.9 (later versions i tried didn't work).
i'm sure if you do a search on torrent, you'll get a copy cracked,

I have a t-mobile razr with boot loader 0A.52 and can't get it to downgrade. Is there anything i can do to get it to work so i can unlock it and use it with Cingular.

I have the same issue as user jbward... but ive tried these things already without success:
1) RSD Lite - tried to flash critical errors 80 40. doesn't work.
2) p2k easy tool v39 - tried to unlock sp. testpoint needed. im not tech savvy so dismantling my phone will result in 100% irreversible damage if done myself. 
HELP!!! i want to get this tmobile razr v3r to work with cingular!

The problem with your phone is that its the dreaded V3r Firmware, so currentlly the only unlock method is the testpoint or smartclip.

Just to be clear, my USB had crashed so I had to re-install Windows. But my phone has successfully been unlocked. After being Downgraded from 8.26 to 7.D0. Your forums were a lot of help. And I hope to be of service to others.

hi all,
i just got a new black v3 with
bootloader: 08.29
sw: r374_g_0e.42.15r
i've read through the 56 pages but haven't seen anyone mention a bootloader ver. similar to mine. does anyone know if the downgrade to 07.d0 will work for this ver. or is it only for 08.26? thanks!

The 08.29 bootloader is a new one - and cannot currently be downgraded "at home"

thanks for the info mike...
before, i was excited that i might be able to unlock and customize my new razr. but from your post i guess i'll have to hope that it can be done in the future.
