hi
i have a v3 black with:
boot loader 0a.52
sw version R4515_G_08.BD.44R
i ve read in many forums that this phone cant be unlocked using only the usb data cable and some software.
Some post talk about test point in order to unlock it
so please help me with some proceed to unlock this phone or a link for a really good tutorial to test ponit the phone and unlock it

Hey ok the links that you say to download and extract(when i click the link it opens up a new window that has a bunch of letters and numbers) how do i extract and download it?

ive talked to old fool and he gave me a program that he said should do it. But for some reason its not working. So i thought i should ask around. more info i get the better

ohh im on a apple. But i have firefox to. I just tried it with firefox and now it askes me to save it. So problems all figured out.  now on with the unlocking process.

yes i just use my mac for reading over and stuff. I use my pc when i try to unlock my phone. my phone says i am using BL 7.D0. I have read that when you go to see what bootloader you are using it shows a white screen. Mine has never shown that. is that a possibility why i cant unlock my phone?

HEY OLD FOOL
Listen i hear your the man to unlock phones, I have razor v3 i payed 4 bucks to download that rsd lite, i was able to get it boot loader 07.d0 sw version: R374_G_0E.42.OR but the phone is still asking for that password. It's a T-mobile razor v3 and I was able to unlock it for the video camera 500 backrounds etc but the phone is yet to be unlocked and able to be used for cingular like I wanted to in the first place please tell me what i am doing wrong.
I used rslite, p2k, Motorola_unlocker
i used SHX files
R374_V3BL 07.D0.shx
R374_G_0E.42.10R_PDS005_LP0039.shx
R374_G_0E.41.C0R_Lang0039_reflash_MOTOX.shx
STILL NOTHING PLEASE HELP

Try using p2k Easy tools rather than motorola unlocker
