Hi. I have been working for hours on my Moto V3 to try unlocking it.all to no avail. I have already downgraded to 7.D0. My SW is 42.10R and as I have read somewhere in this forum, I should try flashing with an older MP (40.79R). The problem is, one I donwloaded that file from Planet MotoX and try browsing for that file in RSD Lite, it can't find it. It seems that the file I donwloaded is .RAR and it can only accept .SHX and the like.
Can someone help me out please? I'd really appreciate it.

I went through the whole unlocking process as stated by this thread and the information provided elsewhere on the forums, and it worked flawlessly.
However, is it normal that the prevoius carrier's animation remains there? (probably just because there must be one by default and it's set to that?) If it's not an issue, can I simply change the carrier animation and screen logo as explained in that respective forum thread? 51331, and perhaps, 39842.
One issue however, when I power on the phone (normally), and connect it to PC via USB, Microsoft Windows XP (5.1.2600), recognizes the device and uses the installed Motorola USB Modem driver. However, apparently, to use PKMAN, etc, apparently a whole slew of drivers should be installed as referenced in several of the other forum threads, if anyone shed any light on this, it would be appreciated.
