HOW-TO: Unlock RAZR V3 yourself (R374, BL 08.26 and below)

I have been trying this to no avail as well.

I used multiflashflex to downgrade my bootloader to 7.D0 instead of RSD lite, as I couldn't find it. When I boot into bootloader mode, it does show 7.D0 as hte boot loader version.

When I use the motounlocker, it says it is done and the phone reboots into normal mode, but it's still locked.

Any advice or any updates on the process?

please help me with this issue with the subsidy password issue that i am having with my black v3 razr locked on cingular. i am trying to use it on t-mobile but when i called t-mobile and gave them the imei to get the unlock code they get back to me in 2 days saying that imei is invalid/not found in their system. i have tried this like 4 times now hoping that they'll give it to me. i just did an unlock for a sony erricson phone and they seem to give me that fine but whats up with the razr is it becuase it is a cingualr branded phone? well i have tried to unlock the phone using moto unlocker 2005 and it says successfull but still asks for a subsidy password. i am soo tired now with the asking for code. why on my phone have to have this issue and no one else. have you gotten a way i can unlock this ? please let me know. thanks.

I have done everything according to the tutorial in post 1.
I used RSD lite 3.2 and updated with bl_826-828_to_07do_for_v3_by_archy.V2.shx it finished the process.
But now my screen is very dim where I can barely see it if I get up real close to it when I hold the power an * and# to get to boot loader mode.
What do I need to do to fix this.
As when I power up the phone the screen is black. Do I need to use
42.10r Mp to get the screen back.

p2k easy tools is much easier, and it works regaurdless, 10, Maybe an Update?

hi i need help unlocking my V3, i have paid for some software which i don't have a clue how to work and im getting rather annoyed, can anybody unlock my V3 subsidy code or actually talk me through the software? tom-devaney@hotmail.co.uk is my contact address i will be much appreciated.

Where do I go next read my previous post a few before this one.
Now I have even used RSD lite and updated to R374G_OE.42.10R.
The Black Rzr V3 still only goes into boot loader mode nothing else.
When I hold the red power button to shut down I see horizontal lines on shut down. Please Guide me further

Hello to everyone, this is my 1st post, please forgive me any mistake.
First I want to thanks to Mikekay and others in this thread alone and Mobiledia.

After so many try and error but I did unlock my 1st motorola rar v3 tmobile.

Here is what I did, I followed the 1st post from this thread and all I got was "enter subsidy code." I did not give up and kept reading until page 14 of this thread.
I went back download Monster pack, still fail, finally the 40.09cr did it trick. Got blank screen, power it up to bootloader mode then used Motorola Unlock.
Still got blank screen not able to power up. That is normal as people did in this thread. But able to power up to bootloader mode, flashed again with this:

After it finished, it rebooted and ask for sim card. I could not power it off(after removed the usb cable). so I removed the battery, plug the sim card, put battery back and hit the power button, it took about 10sec.( but that was long 10sec I ever experienced, then motorola logo came up for the first time and funny sound. bla bla and BAM it ask for personalise.got signal from Cingular, I dial a test, received call.

Hi! Everyone... I recently got a Razr from T-moble and wanted to use with cingular... Ok I was trying to unlock it using the method mentioned on this thread but unfortunately I didn't charge my battery well... and at the beginning when I was flashing the phone it turned off.... Now when I connect it to the computer and the model it shows on RSD lite 2.8 is S Flash Neptune LTE and the Device properties are

When I try use the bootloader the screen is black and I can't turn my phone on neither.
What can I do?. I tried flashing again but nothing work. the bootloader before was 8.26

1st effort went smoothly, T-mobile phone accepts Cingular SIM card now. Thanks a lot OP!

Boot loader was 8.26, used RSD Lite 3.3 to flash to 7D0. Then used Moto Unlocker to unlock it.
