HOW-TO: Unlock RAZR V3 yourself (R374, BL 08.26 and below)

Is there really no relatively simple way of unlocking a V3R?

My Razr V3 phone was reflashed with the following settings.
FLASH: R374_G_0E.42.10R.A
FLEX: GSMV3xxT677GD18F
It works fine, but the battery does not want to charge. Can you help please? Fortunately my wife's got the same phone, BUT I'm getting tired of charging my battery wth her phone. Welll.I think she's also tired of me always asking.

I've been debranding and unlocking razr's from tmobile, but I'm running into a complication with a fair amount of them. Most will, after being reflashed with a monster pack, downgraded from 08.26 to 07.0D, and hit with the unlocker tool, will work just fine, but some, even after taking all of those steps, still want a subsidy password. I can't seem to figure this one out, any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated

ok so i see not many people come to this thread to often but i need help. i am a newb at this. How do i open the boot loader downgrade? i have no idea how to open a .shx file so im pretty lost right now. any help would be great

I have been browsing this forum for a few days, and have tried alot of different things to get my MotoRAZR V3c AND V3m to accept .JAD files [games].

I'm running Windows XP SP2, i have MPT and PST.

I tried to look and see if anyone had the same problems I am having, but the criteria doesn't quite match[Same problems, different phone model].

I tried using just MPT to transfer games onto the Mini SD card on the V3m, but that didn't work.

Then I tried using PST on both phones, and I cannot get past 'reading' the phone [gets to 50% and then says cannot suspend, please power cycle phone and restart operation].

If anyone can point me in the direction of a "HOWTO: install games on Motorola RAZR V3*" I'd greatly appreciate it!

I'm having trouble getting RSD lite to recognize my phone, i read that it can be picky about what USB ports (especially laptops, which im using) it recognizes, are there any other programs that might recognize it and allow me to flash 7.D0?

I was able to follow the instructions given on the first page of this thread and was able to flash the phone to 7od and unlock it using Moto Unlocker for my Razr V3 from Cingular. I put my NEXTEL sim card in and i was happy to see that it went to the main screen and showed the NEXTEL name.

THe problem is that the phone is picking up NO SIGNAL and looks like the phone is NOT picking up the NEXTEL network. Obviously i cannot recieve or make calls and keep getting call failed notice when I attempt to place a call.

What should i do? I was thinking of paying $35 to one of the unlock sites since they guarentee a "CINGULAR UNLOCK" but i think i have already unlocked my phone.right?

my wife was given a v3, we have tmobile and this phone was cingular. upon inserting her sim card I was getting the enter subsidy message so I followed the steps in the first post, Thank you, this worked like a charm I now have the phone connecting to tmobile and can make and receive calls on it.
At this point what should I do? am i supposed to upgrade the bootloader back to 8.26 or leave it like it is? do I leave all the cingular content on the phone or is there a way to make it all tmobile? will leaving it like it is cause me any problems?

I found software that restored my phone.

I used RSD_LITE 3.2
I hit the "#" "*" power buttons to get that bootscreen thing (don't know what it's called)
Pointed RSD to that file and in less than 5mins I was back online

I did lose my pics and dates reserved in calendar but everything is good.

*the flash repair might not work because of a faulty PSD (?) but I think it can be repaired, just look it up.

i have a razr v3t. its has what im guessing is bootloader 8.0dr. i followed the info on the first page and i get a error when im 81% while flashing. it says "critical error 80 40" is it different because im have a v3t? if antone can help that would be great!
