I used the one in your first post and even did it again just now but it made no diference and the external screen still just shows the logo with no icons and it does not change if the lid is open or closed and no functions such as camera , etc , when lid is closed

I can't seem to flash anything. I used RSD lite 3.5 to flash "R374_V3BL 07.D0" and "bl_826-828_to_07d0_for_V3_by_Archy.V2" but both come up with "Failed Flashing Process" and I cant figure out what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have:
Boot Loader
07.E0
SW Version: R374_G_0E.42.1
OR
OK to Program
USB
Transfer Mode

Yeah it recognizes it fine and gives all the phones info but when i try to flash it it just says "failed". I also tried to flash it with 6.28 just now and still the same thing and taking out the sim card but nothing changes.

I'm not sure flashing would help due to the following example, basically I have 2 phones one is a cingular unflashed and locked the other is unlocked phone which has been flashed.
If I remove the main electronics from the rear of both phone cases and tested them both in each case the following happens.
Both phone electronics locked and unlocked will work fine with the lid displays working as they should if placed in one case but both will not work if placed in the 2nd case.
I also tested if it was the display in the 2nd case by replaceing the complete display unit in that case but it still had the problem .
The only thing left as a suspect in my opinion is the touch pad assembly in the 2nd case which also contains the sensor which does not seem to be kicking in for some reason causing the lid display to be unresponsive in the 2nd case and no matter how many times I flash that case w a monster pack , etc it still does not work.
Any help in getting the sensor to function again?.
