I can't seem to find very much info on whether the samsung v200/205 has an e-mail client or not (pop3/imap)? Any owner of the phone care to elaborate?
Also, will the sync-software (easySync) transfer adresses (street, city) from Outlook to the phone?
I apologise if this has been covered already in this forum.
Yours sincerely,
Thor

Thanks. I find it extremely wierd that a GPRS phone lacks an e-mail client. Oddities, indeed!
How about the sync-software .. will it generate street address and city entries from outlook in the phonebook? Anyone?
Thanks,
Thor

@Fuchikoma_ Your obviously accustomed to feature rich version Mobiles.
Out of all the US/Canadian version GPRS mobiles, I can think of just a handful that offer a mail client!
And as for the Sync-Software your EXPECTING way TO MUCH
Basically Samsung's irda/data-sync on the v series is a JOKE... It was something DEFINITELY NOT thought through. You cant do ANYTHING NORMAL with the IR (no vcards, no vcalendar, NOTHING) it might as well not even exist!
Engineering said hey look we had room for a IR emitter/receiver and marketing said GREAT we will mention that in the USER GUIDE and thats about all they did....

Yeah, you're right. Right now I have an SPV and I really like the features this phone offers. Only I don't care too much for the physical properties of this phone. So I was looking for something in a clamshell design and with better battery life and was willing to sacrifice some functionality - but it would seem I'd have to give up on everything if I were to buy a V200.
