Seeing as they're coming down in price everyday, and there are tons of things you can do to them, then they would have to be worth it.

It's a little disingenuous to say you can buy them for $68.98. Wal-Mart sells them for low prices like that but only with a 2 year contract agreement for new Cingular customers. If you buy one without a contract, it will still be about $215 - $225 on eBay and $249 through Cingular. If you're upgrading a phone with Cingular, it's still $249 and then you have to sign a two year contract.

BTW, I'd take a hundred of them if I could get them for $69. I could make 15 grand on that deal.

Try following some of the auctions for new Razrs on eBay. That will tell you what they're worth. You can also find out what used Razrs are bringing as well. I've been looking to pick up another one for my son and anything that's not beat up goes for close to $200.

Talking about RAZR V3 here:

Comparing to the other phones that are coming out and some that are already out, I think RAZR is a very mediocre phone.

No memory card, no Wi-Fi, nothing spectacular as screen colors, No EDGE, NO 3G. Does it have a headphones plug? Not sure there. VGA camera only? HAHAHA.
Ridiculous Poliphonic sound - 24channels instead of 64..

Not worth it if you have to pay more than the $60. Better wait a bit and get either a different phone or one of the new RAZR generations like V3x or V3i
