Have you tried reading this:-http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic25587.html ???

It is just a little lower down than this thread!!!

If you look at the last page you will find a link to a video that will show you how to take the phone apart.

Click on the link or type it into the address bar.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose FREE

Then it will take you to another page and let you download the movie that SHOWS YOU how to take apart your phone.

That's not much help actually, the D500 has a 2 piece body whereas the E800 is solid - there is no back to pull off.

Is there an E800 video?

Er!!

I think you will find that the E800 goes together the same way as the D500.

If it was 1 piece how would people be able to sell replacement fascias?

I am not going to argue over this FACT as I have taken E800's to bits myself.

All I am trying to do is point people in the right direction. If you are not happy with a video what else can we possibly do?

Sorry, I wasn't accusing you!

My E800 doesn't have a pull off back after taking the 4 screws out, it's solid.

It's driving me nuts too!

It does come apart. TRUST ME!

In the bottom of the phone (Looking from the rear)
You have two inset clips (where the battery clips in)
Using these you can carefully manoevre the inside part of the housing, in. So as to release the plastic moulded clips that are holding the two halves together.

You should then be able to lift the inside part of the housing away from the outside (Keypad)housing section.

You are gonna have to believe me, they do come apart. It doesn't split like any other Samsung (Two Halves) as I say, they have an inside part of the housing so as to appear NOT to have any seams.
