Can someone tell me how can I transfer games on win XP via USB cable
I have Motorola PST 6.7, midway 2.8 and JADGEN.
I know the precedure but it doesn't work on XP, probably.
I've installed all drivers from PST but when I want to read from phone i get error message saying that i should plug the phone and power it on ( but i replugged in and it is powered on).
PST uses only COM1 and COM2, even with auto-detect???!!!! BUT, my phone is plugged on COM 4 and on my motherboard i have only COM 3-6 on USB (not 1-2).
What should I do?
Note: My phone works fine on mobile phone tools 2.0 (Motorola original).

Step 07
Now, go to T720. In Main Menu select Settings> Java Tools. You must see a "Java App Loader". If you don't see one, repeat all the way from Step 01.

Quick question. Is Settings> Java Tools visible when you don't do the steps? Just reading through the steps and noticed my phone doesn't have this option under settings. This could also be because I'm using a C370 icon_redface.gif Thanks.

NEVERMIND I GOT IT TO WORK icon_cool.gif

Is the motorola V400 compatible w/ the previous steps? Has any one had any success /w the V400? I can do all the steps. 'reads phone', 'enble Java App Loader Menu', 'restart phone'. The progress bars proceed to 100%, the phone goes into suspend mode, blinks, and beeps when it is suppose to. But after going to the phone menu>java game and apps, it shows just the 2 games the phone came with and no other apps? Please help.... icon_twisted.gif

Found that goto menu>setttings>java settings is where you will find java app loader

other safu's: drivers for PST is in "C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST"

doent matter about data cable charges phone or not

follow the step as per "yowchuan" exacly, he is the man

the prossecces does work for v400 as so far to upload games and apps for java.

I've followed each step, I Activate the JAL link and then open MidWAY but still get a TIMER_EXPIRED error.. My phone is using COM3 and that's what I have configured in MidWAY...

Any ideas?
