Hi,
I'm switching to Verizon soon, and I am torn between two phones, the Motorola E815 and the SCH-a950. I just wanted to know your input before I buy becasue they seem basically the same to me in every sense. The only thing I don't like about the Samsung is that Verizon Menu Interface, which I ABSOLUTELY HATE, and my friend's E815 has the normal Moto interface. But, that's not a HUGE factor for me. So, just wanted to know what your input was. Thanks!

LG VX8100.

I havent played with the Samsung too much, but i have both the Motorola 815 and the LG and I really dont care for the Moto too much...

Having both i can see how inferior the Motorola is in many, and I mean many aspects.

please listen to me. i have had both phones and i have to say that i HATE with huge passion the samsung. i have it right now and it sucks. the motorola does all and some more things than this piece of crap does. they both have the extra memmory availible but if u dont want to buy that the moto has alot more memmory more contact space, more pic space, better pic quality, same mp3 thing just no stupid scrool wheel thing. the hearing on the moto is ALOT better and has alot clearer speaker. especialy on ringtones. the bottons are better on the moto and well every ting else. please listen to me and do not get the samsung . i have ordered the razr and am sure that it will be better than the samsung. but the E815 is an AWESOME phone. i love all motorolas do not make the same mistake as me. get a motorola! please

How can you say one is better than the other with out personal bias. By looking at the facts, which none of the previous posts did.

SCH-A950

SCH-A950

SCH-A950

Advantage: Even

Moto E815
Antenna protrudes from the phone

In what has been proven, these are pretty even phones, with some exceptions where the A950 is better. If all else fails, pick on color like most users.

Okay, so I have had the a950 for about 7 months, or however long the new version was released for. I like it a lot better because it doesn't have that protruding antenna, and I like the two speakers on the outside. It lets me play songs without opening my phone and I control it all like a cheap MP3 player. I like it a lot, more than the Razr I had before and the Motorola e500 or something.
