Hi,
Does anybody have an idea of what are the differences between the two version of N6230i. The version which I have is 3.30 and the one given in the sticky topic of this forum says that somebody has got V3.62.
It will be nice if there is any improvement related to the picture quality of the photographs taken by this phone.
Thanks

I can only give you a list 3.50 to 3.62:
| Quote: |
Changes/improvement made from MCU SW version 3.50 to version 3.62:
-GPRS
-PAUSE is not send instead of RTSP TEARDOWN if streaming and it
ends RTSP connections right away.
-Applications
-Improvements in MIDlets, for use of Visual Radio.
-SW support for new Combo memory added
-Rights are updated correctly when a ring tone with interval constraints is
activated.
-Operator name list updated
|
Accourding to peoples experience:
- louder music player
- better MMC support
- faster Bluetooth
- clearer pictures
But most of this points are hardly recognizeable.
And:
The ascending ring tone bug is still present

"GPRS" and "Application" are only sub-headlines, forgotten to edit them out. Just forget these two points
For the Combo Memory: no idea, but I guess the phone now supports more MMC brands.
Sir, Yes, Sir.

the combo memory is a kind of chip on the mainboard of the phone, there are different versions and that's why you need the newest firmware if you want to use a new combo..
I work in a Nokia Repair Center, and i flash phones the whole day, with the newest firmware version (3.62), there are 2 possible software versions, one for old Combo Memory's, and one for the new Combo's..
